Dual gender, two spirit, & non-binary describe a segment of humanity that has always been present. There are cultures past & present that appreciate, even revere, this potent weave of human expression.
Naturally, not everyone understands or is supportive. Dual gender, two spirit, non-binary, or crossdressing is a complex reality to comprehend when you aren’t wired to feel it, be it. In addition to the lack of direct experience, the dominant cultural narrative doesn’t condone or support such truths. They are seen as disorders, mental illness, and gender dysphoria.
